Charlie Loomis, 40's.  A good-natured everyman referred to as "St. Loomis", since everyone comes to him with their troubles, whether or not he has time to listen.

Martin Gray, 40's.  A desperate businessman better at netwoking than at formulating actual plans.  Tries way too hard.

Bobby Dunlap, 18.  Good heart, but a born slacker with possible attention deficit and bouts of verbal diarrhea.  A permanent resident of Planet Bobby.

Jack Miles, 40's.  Slick, sarcastic, driven businessman with something heavy on his shoulders.

Trudy Platko, 30's-40's.  Tough, no nonsense rescue worker.  Very afraid of vulnerability.

Annie Dunlap, 17.  Very pregnant.  Her impending motherhood occupies her every thought.
