Art Classes Summer 2007

The Milford Fine Arts Council is offering art class sessions during the summer at Milford’s Center for the Arts. The instructor, Jeanne Board Fayumi holds a B.S. in Art Education.

The first class, Painting for Young People, is for age groups age groups 7-10. They will meet June 25, 26, 27, 28, & 29 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Class size will be limited to 10 students. Students will paint from direct observation of a still life. Registration fee is $100 which includes use of easels and brushes.

A Beginners Acrylic Painting Class, for ages 11-15 years old, will meet July 23, 24, 25, 26, & 27 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM. The class is designed to instruct the student in the use of different types of paintbrushes and brush stroke techniques, as well as the use of composition, color mixing, value, and color relationships, and creating depth in one’s work through the use of perspective. Class size will be limited to 10 students.
The $100.00 registration fee includes use of easels and brushes.
