Milford's Great American Sandsculpture Competition 
The Milford Fine Arts Council’s 30th Annual Great American Sandsculpture Competition sponsored by the Milford Bank will be held Saturday, August 25, at Walnut Beach, Milford, CT.
Registration: 11:30 AM – Noon, Sand building Noon – 3:00 PM and Judging from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Cash Awards, Trophies, and Ribbons to be awarded in various categories including Clubs/Friends, Families, and Individuals.
RULES
1. Take only the space you need on the beach
2. Be considerate of neighbors
3. Do not start building before 11:30
4. No Prefabricated forms
5. Only objects found in Nature, NO SEA GRASS
6. Have Fun!
Non-residents pay a $5 parking fee at the beach. There is no sand sculpture entry fee for the competition. For further information call the Milford Fine Arts Council at (203) 878-6647. Rain Date: Sunday, August 26, all hours are one hour later due to tides.
